I had a chance to kick off the year’s radio show in a sit down with Dr Cheryl Pahaham (pronounced PAM) an Urban Sociologist and Activist in the Inwood community’s Northern Manhattan is Not For $ale movement to talk about her building of a land trust and the recent legal battle that her org won against the City of New York’s rezoning.

It’s increasingly important to explore how we prop up professional activists in our communities where resources have become increasingly scarce. We’re under attack by predatory interests with regards to our land use and we are nearly defenseless with the acception of activist groups.
